BIG shout-outs for the camp and it’s organizers. They spent the majority of the camp talking to these kids about grades,attitudes,graduation requirements, etc. There was nothing negative about this event. It takes a true person to even be involved with our children on their free time. So much to do and so little workers. I am waiting and hoping for more camps. Does is matter who was shown or mentioned? It’s all about the kids and them having fun:-). Any “nay-sayers”……..start your own program and tell kids what YOU want them to do/be or what YOU think about how they should carry themselves. We all have a part to play.There are enough boys to go around :-).
Thanks for the nice comments playermom. I thought the camp went really well. To be able to put 27 players from different schools including a couple from outside the area in one gym says that the website is moving in the right direction. Its very important to talk about the young guys education and what must be done to ensure that they have success in the classroom so that they can get those scholarships. I’ve realized that I will not always please everyone with what I write about and who I write about. Someone will find something negative. I try to be as fair as possible in words but yet some say, aw man, you don’t have a clue or you got something against this person and that’s not true at all. The only thing I can do it keep pushing and doing what I’ve been doing and trying to provide exposure. I can’t be worried about naysayers because in the end, I do this because I love it. Again, thanks for the nice remarks.
