In both state championshipg games, there was a theme, both teams had played each other at least 3 times. First up to decide the state champions, Schilling Farms against Lowrance. At the end of the first half, Lowrance struggled with turnovers committing 3 straight but still managed to have 2 point edge going into the half however, their turnover headaches had not ended yet. After 3 more miscues on possessions, they found themselves down 4, 23-19 after a great lay in by 8th grader, Marissa Knox. With momentum already on their side, 6th grader Jada Roper hit a big time 3 pointer to put her team up by 7, 26-19 to enter the fourth quarter. With Lowrance guard Amber Holmes limited to  minimal scoring, Lowrance just could not get it going offensively and Knox stepped it up in the 4th quarter scoring 8 of her 15 points in the game. Chants of who dat say they gone beat them Stallions broke out all over the gym for Schilling and rightfully so as they went of the get the win, 36-28 and a Large Schools Division State Championship for the 2009-2010 season.

Marissa Knox led Schilling  with  15 points. Knox will be a really good high school player for whatever school she attends. 7th grader Erin Foster, a 5′11 post from Lowrance had 14 points 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Here are some players of note that made the all tournament team
